Born in the hills of Southern Vermont, Flabberghaster continues to defy genre through their eclectic songwriting, high-energy live performances, and broad spectrum of influences. The classic meets modern approach Flabberghaster takes in their music has brought together a multi-generational, diverse and loyal following. In the early summer of 2010 Flabberghaster started taking off, playing regional clubs, wild house parties, and music festivals. The band is quickly covering more and more ground, performing all the way from Burlington, VT, to New York City, to Boston. Flabberghaster continues to push the envelope, always challenging themselves musically, and otherwise. On July 2nd, 2011 they released their 11-track Debut LP "Live Like Lightning", recorded with Grammy Award Winning Engineer Billy Shaw at SoundDesign Recording Studios in Brattleboro, VT. Look out for Flabberghaster this fall as they continue playing regional hot spots like The Spot (Providence, RI), The Stone Church (Newmarket, NH), The Middle East (Boston, MA), and sharing the stage with bigger acts such as Alan Evans (Soulive), Dopapod, The Brew, Zach Deputy, Ryan Montbleau, and Roots of Creation.
